Artist's Statement

    I have been creating sculpture ever since I was old enough to reach across the Passover table and collect the dripping wax from the candles during the Seder. The wonder of forming shapes from warm wax overwhelmed me.

    Intrigued by artistic styles of the past, fascinated by people of various cultures, soothed by the shapes and forms found in nature, personal thoughts and emotions tumble out.

    I carry within myself a deep feeling of nostalgia and a prayer for hopefulness.
